What will 5th grade be like? Do we go on field trips? Do you have a lot of homework? What happens if you misbehave or you do not finish your work? Please share anything and everything that might be helpful for us to know. We will be 5th graders very soon and we want to be prepared.

Hi Mrs. Fisher's Class!
Fifth grade is fantastic! It can be tough, but if you pay attention and get your work done, it is a lot of fun. You are going to become the leaders of Village East and role models for the other kids, so make sure to make good choices.
Homework is hard, but if you focus in class it will be much easier. If you are not able to finish your homework or need some additional help, you are able to come in the morning to get help from the teacher. Always make sure to do your homework and be responsible.
You do get to go on field trips. We went to the USGS and School of Mines, Denver Museum of Nature and Science, IMAX, and you get to go bowling before continuation. You also get to have a 5th grade BBQ. You will be taking a field trip to Prairie Middle School. This is an opportunity to see your new school and get comfortable. There you will learn about expectations and classes from the school administrators. The field trips are a blast!
We are getting ready for continuation. At the end of 5th grade, you will have continuation to middle school and have a party. This is a big honor and something to get excited about! So make sure to keep your grades up and do well on all your tests. It is time to start setting goals and looking forward to the future.

You will have nice teachers if you have Mr. Dillard's class. You will have a fun time.
5th grade is fantastic! It might be tough but when u work hard it will be easy. Make sure u finish your homework so u can go outside and eat lunch outside with him. 5th grade rocks! He will make u laugh by dancing around they room so be prepared.
When i think of 5th I think about Mr.D class. If you are in his class you better like to have fun because we have a blast!
I also think about, my teachers that I had in the past.
When I think about fifth grade I think about lots of homework.Try to finish your homework so you can do fun things.Next, is getting ready for middle school.Then, the field trips.Little kids look up at you, to see what your doing.Don't go in the wrong crowd,so you won't see Mr.Dillard dance.
Fifth grade is awesome.All you have to do is learn.
