Florence Sabin was born in 1871 and died in 1953. She worked to improve health laws in Colorado. She was a great scientist of our country. She was a teacher at John Hopkins medical school. There is a statue of her in Denver, Colorado.

Hi we are about to tell you some facts about Aunt Clara Brown. Aunt Clara was born a slave in Tennessee 1803 she was a good size girl in the war of 1812 in her age. When a reporter of Denver asked when did you see your husband she said " I have not seen him in 30 years since he was sold." She had four kids that were sold like her husband. In 1879 when she was 80 years old she went to Kansas to help poor blacks. She died in her sleep in October of 1885.
I Thomas Jefferson will be doing a report about John Elway. He was born June 28, 1960 in Ports Angeles. In elementary school he couldn't wait for high school. Until they moved to Los Angeles so he could play football. John completed 60% of his passes and 49 touchdowns over his high school football career. In 1979 John was the highest recruited prep athlete in the nation. He was tall, strong, and mobile. Elway was a great football player, but I good baseball player too. He wanted to play baseball for the New York Yankees. The Baltimore Colts drafted him first, but he didn't want to play for them. So, he was going to play baseball. Then the Denver Broncos made a trade for him. So John Elway went with the Denver Broncos. Now he has a wife named Janet and four kids. That's my report of John Elway.
